VAMPIR was founded in 2026 by vocalist Nefarious of HERUVIM and Kingpin. The band is from Odesa, Ukraine.
The songs were written several years ago, but the opportunity to record them only came now. Most of the material was recorded in Odesa.
Essentially, the band is an ideological continuation of The Night, another horror punk project created by Nefarious. All the music and lyrics were written by Nefarious. Friends helped with the recordings, contributing drums and bass, while the vocals and guitars were recorded by Nefarious.
VAMPIR is 138% horror punk. The band’s main themes are not based on classic old-school horror films, but rather on the horror movies and TV shows of the ’90s generation: The Faculty, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Urban Legend, Jeepers Creepers, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, X-files, Cherry Falls, and many more.
The band is currently preparing for its first live performances and working toward recording a full-length album.
