THE HORROR GOES ON!
Horror Punk Fest 2026 may be behind us, but things are showing no signs of slowing down here at We Are Horror Records!
We've got another live show on the horizon, brand-new music arriving just in time for Halloween, some exciting label news, a special fan-voted edition of our radio show, and some new merch to keep you warm as the nights draw in.
Here's what's happening!
WE ARE HORROR RECORDS PROUDLY PRESENTS: MEAN GHOULS
...and the horror goes on!
Following the huge success of Horror Punk Fest 2026 at The Flapper in Birmingham earlier this month, We Are Horror Records is keeping the momentum going with another night of horror-fuelled punk rock, this time heading to DIVE in Wolverhampton on Saturday 21st November!
Headlining the evening are MEAN GHOULS, a band spawned from the UK punk scene, with roots in bands including Miss Vincent. Armed with a love of all things spooky, a tongue-in-cheek attitude and a healthy dose of undead energy, Mean Ghouls are bringing punk rock back from the dead!
The band have already unleashed three singles, "I'll Be Damned", "...And the Horror Goes On" and "Reason Is Dead", offering a taste of what's to come from their forthcoming album, "...And the Horror Goes On", which lands on Friday 30th October.
With the album arriving just a few weeks before the Wolverhampton show, this promises to be a fantastic opportunity to catch the band celebrating their new release live. Expect plenty of attitude, infectious punk rock and a band that clearly doesn't take itself too seriously.
Joining Mean Ghouls are two familiar faces from the We Are Horror Records family.
MIDNIGHT FEATURE make their return to the label's live events, bringing their own brand of horror punk to the proceedings, while DEAD PLEASURES return following their fantastic performance at Horror Punk Fest earlier this month. We're delighted to have both bands involved and helping us keep the horror alive in the West Midlands!
Horror Punk Fest may be over for another year, but that certainly doesn't mean we're slowing down. We're committed to bringing more bands, more shows and more opportunities to the UK horror punk scene, and this is another step in that direction.
