UK horror-punk outfit Hellbound Heist are set to unleash their own twisted take on the classic “Runaround Sue”, originally recorded by Dion, on 26 September 2026 (via Bandcamp).

Taking the 1961 rock ’n’ roll favourite and dragging it firmly into darker territory, Hellbound Heist give “Runaround Sue” a distinctly horror-punk makeover, bringing their own energy and attitude to a song that has been a staple of popular music for generations.

The release arrives just days before Hellbound Heist take to the stage at Horror Punk Fest at The Flapper in Birmingham on 3 October, alongside Zombina and The Skeletones, Das Ghoul, Dead Pleasures, Tricie and The Phantom Punks, and Oracular.
